Commercial Reconstruction & Build-Back · Since 2000
Loss Construction
— we don't just dry it out, we bring it back.
Most firms stop at mitigation and hand you a list of trades. We carry the file through the rebuild — by our own crews, on one schedule, in accordance with the insurance scope
THE BASICS
The rebuild is the second part of the loss — not a new project.
Performing reconstruction in a commercial situation must be accomplished with speed and precision. Returning the business back to operations is of the utmost importance. Our team works with you in determining the order we perform our rebuild. There may be specific areas that are crucial to your operations and must be rebuilt first .
When mitigation ends, the building still isn't whole. That handoff — to a general contractor, a list of trades, months of coordination — is where the second part of the loss begins. C2C keeps the file: framing through finishes, sequenced by our own crews on one schedule, so the property is restored to pre-loss condition under one point of contact.
SCOPE OF WORK
Framing through finishes
— one schedule, one invoice.
Category 01
Structure
Framing, drywall, and envelope returned to pre-loss condition.
Category 02
Systems
Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC reinstated, in accordance with the insurance scope and code.
Category 03
Finishes
Flooring, paint, cabinetry, fixtures, and tenant-specific build-out.
THE C2C COMMERCIAL PROCESS
Pre-loss agreement → mitigation → restoration → sign-off.
step one
Pre-loss Agreement
Rate sheet signed before anything happens; property added to the dispatch file for priority response. No charge until a loss occurs.
step two
Mitigation
Stabilization placed before negotiation; crews dispatched immediately to the loss site, on-site within MINUTES.
step three
Restoration
Reconstruction performed in accordance with the insurance scope, by our own crews. Daily or weekly updates issued.
step four
Sign-off
Final walk-through with owner and/or adjuster. One closing document as agreed by all parties.
CONTINUITY
Same owner, same dispatch line, same crews, same quality of work.
A single point of contact through sign-off means no re-bidding the job, no gap between the dry-out and the build-back, and documentation that stays continuous — scope-aligned, Xactimate-ready estimates and sequenced daily logs from the first call to the closing walk-through.
INSURANCE & DOCUMENTATION
We carry the documentation from mitigation through final sign-off — one file, one contact, one schedule.
Commercial Loss Construction moves on a documented scope. We produce Xactimate-aligned estimates, track permits by phase, and issue progress reports in a format carriers and property managers can act on — without chasing a separate contractor for updates.
Scope
of Work
Written rebuild plan aligned to the insurance scope — phased by area to keep occupied floors operational where possible.
Xactimate Estimates
Carrier-ready, line-item rebuild scopes produced before work begins and updated through any approved change orders.
Permit & Inspection Tracking
Permits pulled, inspections scheduled, and approval records maintained as part of the project file.
Photo & Video Record
Time-stamped documentation of structural work, material installation, and finished conditions through final sign-off.
Commercial build-back crews cover the full footprint.
We've staged crews and equipment across all five Southern California counties — Los Angeles, Ventura County, Santa Barbara County, Orange County, and San Diego County — since 2000.
