Commercial Storm · Southern California · Since 2000

When the envelope fails
— tarping, board-up, and intrusion control first.

25+ years stabilizing storm- and seismic-damaged commercial property,
then rebuilding it — by our own crews, on one schedule.

THE BASICS

Stop the secondary
loss before it starts.

Storm and seismic events open the building to water and entry. The first job is intrusion control — tarping, board-up, and securing the envelope — so a roof breach doesn't become a water and mold claim while the scope is written.

KNOW THE DIFFERENCE

Different failures,
one priority: seal it.

Category 01

C2C

Wind & Roof

Lifted membrane, missing panels, debris impact; emergency tarping.

Category 02

C2C

Water Intrusion

Flooding and wind-driven rain; extraction and drying follow the board-up.

Category 03

C2C

Seismic

Cracked envelope, displaced fixtures, glass; board-up and a safe-access plan. Structural sign-off as required.

Restoration

Where Loss Construction lives.

Reconstruction performed in accordance with the insurance scope, by our own crews. Daily or weekly updates issued.

BEFORE WE ARRIVE

First hour after
a storm or quake.

HOMEOWNER GUIDANCE

Do this now

Do

Confirm the building is safe to enter before sending staff in.

Do

Photograph damage and any active intrusion; note utility shutoffs.

Do

Call us — a live dispatcher answers and a crew is routed inside the same call.

Don't do this

Do

Don't attempt roof access in wind or wet conditions

Do

Don't move displaced structure or glass before it's documented.

FROM LOSS TO REBUILD

When mitigation ends, most firms hand you a list of trades. We keep going.

Mitigation stabilizes the building; the rebuild is the second part of the loss. We carry the file through reconstruction in-house — by our own crews, on one schedule, in accordance with the insurance scope.

Next Step

C2C

Commercial Reconstruction & Build-Back

One firm, one schedule, single point of contact through sign-off.

INSURANCE & DOCUMENTATION

We record the damage before we touch it — so the scope is defensible from the start.

Commercial storm claims often involve multiple trades and extended timelines. We document conditions on arrival, maintain a stabilization log, and produce carrier-ready estimates so your adjuster can approve the full scope without a second site visit.

C2C

Damage Assessment Report

Facility-wide inspection of roof, envelope, and affected interior areas — conditions logged before stabilization.

C2C

Xactimate Estimates

Line-item scopes in the carrier's software, covering emergency stabilization, structural repair, and rebuild.

C2C

Stabilization
Log

Written record of tarping, board-up, and intrusion control — dates, materials, and areas documented for the file.

C2C

Photo & Video Record

Time-stamped exterior and interior documentation from first response through final sign-off.
