Water damage in your home —
extracted, dried, and rebuilt by one firm.

A burst pipe or slab leak rarely waits for business hours — so a live dispatcher answers around the clock, and a crew is routed on the same call.  25+ years restoring Southern California homes — Los Angeles, Ventura County, Santa Barbara County, Orange County, and San Diego County.

THE BASICS

What is water
damage restoration?

Water damage restoration is the work of removing standing water, drying the structure of your home down to the framing, and returning every affected room to the condition it was in the day before the loss. It is not the same as a clean-up. Done properly, it protects the parts of the house you can't see — the subfloor, the wall cavities, the insulation — from the slow damage that shows up months later as warped floors, peeling paint, and mold.

For a homeowner, the order of operations matters. Water moves through a house by gravity and wicking, so the visible puddle is rarely the whole story. We map where the moisture has traveled, extract it, and place drying equipment sized to the affected area — then we monitor it daily until the structure reads dry on a meter, not just to the touch.

Because we also carry the rebuild in-house, there is no handoff between the firm that dries your home and the contractor that puts it back together.

One crew, one file, one schedule — from the first wet-vac to the last coat of paint.

KNOW THE DIFFERENCE

The three categories of water
— and why it changes the work.

Per IICRC S500

Category 01

C2C

Supply lines &
Rainwater

From a broken supply pipe, an overflowing tub, or a failed appliance line. Sanitary at first — but it degrades to Category 2 within hours if left to sit. Speed is the whole game here.

Category 02

C2C

Dishwashers & Washing Machines

Water carrying contaminants — appliance discharge, a punctured waterbed, sump-pump backup. Affected porous materials are evaluated for removal, and the area is treated with antimicrobial.

Category 03

C2C

Sewage and
flood intrusion.

Grossly contaminated — sewer backups, rising floodwater, ground-surface intrusion. Containment, controlled demolition of affected materials, and full disinfection are required before any rebuild.

Why it matters to you: the category sets the scope, the safety protocol, and what your carrier will cover. We document the category on arrival so the claim and the work agree from day one.

THE C2C COMMERCIAL PROCESS

From the first wet floor to a finished room.

C2C Process Steps

step one

Dispatch & Assessment

On-site within two hours. We trace the moisture, classify the water category, and document conditions before anything is moved.

C2C Process Steps

step two

Extraction & Containment

Standing water removed with truck-mounted units. Contaminated and unsalvageable materials isolated and controlled-demoed where required.

C2C Process Steps

step three

Structural Drying

Air movers and dehumidifiers sized to the class of loss. Moisture readings logged daily until the structure meters dry — not just dry to the touch.

C2C Process Steps

step four

Antimicrobial & Clearance

Affected surfaces treated and sanitized. Independent clearance confirms the structure is dry and safe before any rebuild begins.

C2C

step five

Loss Construction

Where most firms hand you a list of trades. Drywall, flooring, cabinetry, paint — performed in accordance with the insurance scope by our own crews, on one schedule, until the room is whole again.

BEFORE WE ARRIVE

What to do in the first
hour — and what to avoid.

HOMEOWNER GUIDANCE

Do this now

Do

Stop the source if it's safe — shut off the main water valve.

Do

Cut the power to affected rooms at the breaker before stepping into standing water.

Do

Lift what you can  — move rugs, electronics, and valuables to a dry floor.

Do

Photograph everything before you move it — your claim starts with this record.

Do

Call us — a live dispatcher answers and a crew is routed inside the same call.

Don't do this

Do

Don't use a household vacuum to remove water — it's an electrocution risk and won't reach the structure.

Do

Don't wait to "see if it dries." Clean water turns contaminated within 24–48 hours.

Do

Don't enter rooms with sagging ceilings — trapped water is heavy and the drywall can let go.

Do

Don't run the HVAC if the water may have reached the ducts — it spreads contaminants through the house.

Do

Don't throw damaged items away until they're documented — your adjuster needs the record.

FROM LOSS TO REBUILD

Drying the house is the easy half.
Putting it back is where we live.

Most restoration firms stop once the structure reads dry, then hand you a list of trades to coordinate yourself — and that is where the second part of the loss begins. We don't. After mitigation, the same C2C crew carries your home through reconstruction — framing, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and finishes — performed in accordance with the insurance scope, on one continuous schedule.

Next Step

C2C

Residential Reconstruction & Build-Back

Your home returned to the day before the loss — not a shell of it. Kitchens, baths, framing, and finishes by the same crew that dried it out.

INSURANCE & DOCUMENTATION

We document the claim as we work — so you don't have to fight it later.

Water claims are won or lost on the record. From the first reading, we build a file your adjuster can approve without a second visit — and we speak their language so the scope and the work never drift apart.

C2C

Moisture mapping

A room-by-room map of where water traveled, with meter readings logged on arrival and at every visit.

C2C

Xactimate Estimates

Line-item scopes in the carrier's own software, so the estimate and the rebuild match to the penny.

C2C

Daily Drying
Logs

Equipment placement, humidity, and structural readings recorded each day until clearance.

C2C

Photo & Video Record

Time-stamped documentation of conditions, demolition, and progress — your evidence, kept for the file.

Common cross-over

Fire & Smoke

Where there's fire suppression, there's water. The two losses are almost always one job.

Mold

If drying stalls

Mold Remediation

Unaddressed moisture becomes mold in 24–48 hours. We catch it during drying — or remediate it if it's already there.

Storm

Seasonal cause

Storm Damage

Roof failures and intrusion are a leading source of residential water loss. Tarping and board-up stop it spreading.

How fast can you get to my home?

Crews are staged across Los Angeles, Ventura County, Santa Barbara County, Orange County, and San Diego County, so our average on-site arrival is within two hours of dispatch — day or night. When you call, a live dispatcher routes the nearest crew during the same conversation; you are never put into a queue or a callback.
